Farever Max Level

The Farever Early Access level cap is 30. Reaching the cap takes roughly 25–35 hours of focused play. After 30, character progression continues through weapon mastery and talent points — there is no soft-cap grind like a traditional MMO.

Current Farever level cap

Level 30, as of the May 2026 Early Access build. Shiro Games has said the cap will rise to 40 with the first major content patch (Autumn expansion) and to 50 by 1.0 release.

XP requirements per level

Levels 1–10 are ~30 minutes each. Levels 11–20 are ~1 hour each. Levels 21–30 are ~2 hours each. Total estimate to cap: 25–35 hours of focused dungeon + main-quest play.

Fastest way to max level

Main story quest line (granting ~50% of all XP) → first dungeon clear of each dungeon (bonus XP) → daily bounty board for the +20% rested XP buff. Avoid grinding open-world mobs — XP rate is ~3x lower than dungeon clears.

After max level — what next?

Weapon mastery (each weapon levels independently to 20) · Talent tree completion (40 points to fully fill any single tree) · Endgame dungeons unlock at level 28 · World boss rotation. There is no infinite paragon-style level grind.

Best class to power-level

Ranger has the fastest solo level curve thanks to pet tank + ranged DPS = no downtime. Warrior is the fastest group-XP class. Mage is the slowest solo due to fragile early levels.

FAQ — Farever leveling

Is there a level reset? — No, levels are permanent. Does XP carry between characters? — No, each character levels independently. Can I out-level content? — Yes, but everything scales down 5 levels below your max, so over-leveling is mostly a comfort buff, not a trivialiser.
