This is the current Farever tier list for the May 2026 Early Access patch. Tiers are based on combined solo + group performance. Note that Farever's class is less binding than a traditional MMO — your weapon choice drives most of your active skills — but each class still has clear strengths.

Best class for new Farever players
For anyone new to Farever, the best pick is Ranger. Pet tank handles aggro, bow keeps you safe, dungeon completion is smoothest. After 10–15 hours, you'll know the systems well enough to swap into Warrior or Mage if you want.
Best class for Farever co-op / group play
For 3–4 stack co-op, run Warrior + Mystic + Mage. Warrior holds aggro, Mystic supports and flex-damages, Mage pumps boss damage. Add a Ranger as the 4th if you have one for utility traps and a pet off-tank.
Best class for Farever solo
Ranger, then Warrior, then Mystic. Mage is genuinely hard solo and not recommended as a first class for solo players.
Tier list — common questions
Will the Farever tier list change?
Yes. Shiro Games has committed to ~monthly balance patches during EA. Expect Mage to receive QoL changes and Mystic's talent tree to be reworked in the first major content drop.
Does weapon choice matter more than class in Farever?
Almost equally. Weapon mastery drives most active skills. A Mystic with a spear plays very differently from a Mystic with a tome. The class determines passives + talent tree; weapons determine moment-to-moment combat.
