How to Catch a Bug
Insects are a separate capture category from companion critters in Farever. They feed Alchemist recipes and certain quests.
Tool
Buy a Bug Net from the Alchemist (3 gold). Distinct from the Capture Net used for companions.
Best zones
Skyover meadows by day; Autumn fungal grove by night. Spawn density doubles after rain events.
Uses
Alchemist potions, occasional cooking buffs, the Hidden Critter quest chain.
