Farever Pets Guide

Farever has two pet systems: Ranger combat pets (active in fights) and story companions (cosmetic / quest-driven).

Ranger combat pets

Tied to the Ranger talent tree. Roar/charge/heal pet variants unlock at talent thresholds.

Earned through specific side quests like the Catch a Companion quest line. Cosmetic and emote-driven, not combat.

They co-exist. You can mount up while a companion follows.
